cntHwFailStatus
Module: CNTAU-MIB
OID (symbolic): CNTAU-MIB::cntHwFailStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.1.4.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Status that the failing CPU recorded at the time of the failure.
What is cntHwFailStatus?
This read-only INTEGER reports the status the failing CPU itself recorded at the moment of failure, such as parity-error, ac-failure, or system-failure. An admin diagnosing root cause would use this self-reported status to distinguish a power-related failure from a memory parity issue on that specific CPU. For example, a status of ac-failure here would point the admin toward power delivery rather than the CPU board itself as the underlying problem.
