Description: This object identifies the last station to set MIB information in the FDDI MIB.
What is cntFddiSMTLastSetStationID?
This object identifies the last station that successfully set MIB information on this FDDI station. An administrator uses it to audit which remote management station most recently modified this node's FDDI configuration, which is useful when tracking down an unexpected configuration change. For example, if a FDDI parameter unexpectedly changed, checking this station ID tells the admin which management station on the ring performed the write.
