Description: A unique value for each SMT. Its value ranges between 1 and the value of snmpFddiSMTNumber.
What is cntFddiSMTIndex?
This value is the unique index identifying one particular SMT entity, ranging between 1 and the total reported by cntFddiSMTNumber. An administrator uses it as the row key when correlating other FDDI SMT attributes, such as manufacturer data or report limits, back to a specific station management instance. For example, when a node reports two SMTs, the admin would see rows indexed 1 and 2 and match each SMT's other MIB objects to the correct physical FDDI adapter by this index.
