What is cntFddiPORTNumber?
This value reports the total number of PORT implementations across all SMTs on this network management application entity. An administrator uses it to know how many physical FDDI ports to expect when enumerating this node's connections, which for a dual-attached station is typically more than the number of SMTs. For example, if a node with two SMTs reports four ports, the admin can infer each SMT is dual-attached with an A and B port.
