What is cntFddiPORTBaseLerEstimate?
This object captures the value of the Link Error Rate estimate from the sample just before the sample when the PORT LER Event was generated. An administrator uses this baseline to see what the link error rate looked like immediately before the LER condition triggered, helping reconstruct how quickly the link degraded. For example, a large jump between this baseline and the current LER estimate tells the admin the link error rate spiked abruptly rather than degrading gradually.
