OID (symbolic): CNTAU-MIB::cntFddiCount

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.11.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The number of FDDI interfaces that are manageable by this agent on this node.

What is cntFddiCount?

This value reports the number of FDDI interfaces that this agent can manage on this node. An administrator uses it to confirm the expected number of FDDI adapters are recognized by the agent before diving into individual SMT, MAC, PATH, or PORT statistics. For example, if this count doesn't match the number of FDDI cards physically installed, the admin knows to check the agent's hardware detection rather than assuming a card is faulty.
