This value reports the number of DoD IP addresses (from internet records in !CFG) that the agent detected configured on this node at startup, and this count will not necessarily equal the number of interfaces on the node. An administrator uses it to sanity-check that the expected number of IP-addressable records were actually picked up during agent initialization. For example, if this count is lower than the number of interfaces the admin configured with IP addresses, some internet records in !CFG likely weren't recognized at startup.
