cntDataLinkCount
Module: CNTAU-MIB
OID (symbolic): CNTAU-MIB::cntDataLinkCount
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.11.1.13
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The number of Data Link Layers Instances that are manageable by this agent on this node.
What is cntDataLinkCount?
This value reports the number of Data Link Layer instances that this agent can manage on this node. An administrator uses it to confirm how many entries to expect when walking the cntdl data link table, across all link types the agent supports. For example, if this count doesn't match the sum of Ethernet, FDDI, and other configured links, the admin knows some data link layer isn't being tracked by the agent as expected.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.11.1.13 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CNTAU-MIB::cntDataLinkCount
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.11.1.13.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CNTAU-MIB::cntDataLinkCount.1
