cnt2RegistrationNum

Module: CNT23-MIB

OID (symbolic): CNT23-MIB::cnt2RegistrationNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.2.3.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The number of registerations received from subagents.

What is cnt2RegistrationNum?

This INTEGER reports the total number of subagent registrations the master SNMP agent has recorded. An administrator uses it to verify that all the expected internal subsystem subagents, such as hardware monitoring or compression modules, have successfully registered. For example, cnt2RegistrationNum dropping unexpectedly right after a reboot would suggest one of those subagent processes failed to come up and register.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.2.3.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CNT23-MIB::cnt2RegistrationNum

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.2.3.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CNT23-MIB::cnt2RegistrationNum.1
