What is esisISHins?
This read-only Counter tallies ES-IS Intermediate System Hello (ISH) PDUs received by this entity, sent by neighboring routers to announce themselves. An admin cares because it confirms whether router-level ES-IS neighbor discovery is working on this link. For example, esisISHins remaining flat after a new CLNS router is added to the segment suggests that router isn't sending ISH PDUs, or this device isn't hearing them.
