What is clnpInErrSegs?
This read-only Counter counts segmentation-disallowed CLNP Error PDUs received by this entity. An admin cares because it shows a PDU from this device needed fragmentation but was blocked by a segmentation-not-permitted flag, causing it to be dropped downstream. For example, rising segmentation-disallowed errors after a path's MTU shrinks suggest this device's larger PDUs can no longer cross that link without fragmentation.
