What is swIfStatus?
This read-write RowStatus is used to delete an entry from the swIfTable, per the description. It provides the standard SNMP row-lifecycle mechanism for removing a switch interface entry, which matters when an interface is being decommissioned or an entry needs to be cleaned up via management tooling. For example, setting this to destroy for a stale interface entry would remove it from the swIfTable during a device cleanup operation.
