Description: As a result of this set all counters of all external cascade ports will be cleared.
What is rlIfClearStackPortsCounters?
This read-write TruthValue, when set, clears the counters of all external cascade (stacking) ports across the device, per the description. Admins use this as a bulk maintenance action to reset stacking-link statistics all at once, useful before starting a clean measurement window for evaluating inter-unit link performance. For example, before diagnosing whether a stack's inter-unit bandwidth is being saturated, an admin would trigger this OID to zero out prior counters and get a clean baseline.
