Description: This attribute holds the value 'noPeriodic' if the Periodic state machine for the Aggregation Port is in the NO_PERIODIC state, 'fastPeriodic' if the Mux state machine is in the FAST_PERIODIC state, 'slowPeriodic' if the Mux state machine for the Aggregation Port is in the SLOW_PERIODIC state, or 'periodicTx' if the Periodic state machine for the Aggregation Port is in the PERIODIC_TX state. This value is read-only.

What is rlDot3adAggPortLacpPeriodicState?

This read-only INTEGER reports the current state of the LACP Periodic Transmission state machine for this port: noPeriodic, fastPeriodic, slowPeriodic, or periodicTx. An admin can check this to confirm whether the port is exchanging LACPDUs at the fast or slow negotiated interval, which affects how quickly link failures get detected. For example, a port in fastPeriodic(2) will detect a partner failure and remove itself from the aggregate much sooner than one running in slowPeriodic(3).
