OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-IpRouter::rlRip2GlobalDefInfOriginate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.26.3.7

Description: if set to Enabled RIP will advertise default route on all RIP interfaces if set to PassiveOnly RIP will advertise default route on all RIP passive interfaces

What is rlRip2GlobalDefInfOriginate?

This read-write value globally controls whether RIP advertises a default route on all RIP interfaces, enabled everywhere, only on passive interfaces, or disabled entirely. An admin sets this as the device-wide default-route-origination policy that individual interfaces can defer to via their own setting. For example, setting this to passiveOnly means only interfaces also configured as passive will advertise the default route via RIP unless a specific interface overrides this global choice.
