Description: This field is the age of the link state advertisement in seconds.
What is rlOspfNetLnkAge?
This read-only Integer32 reports the age, in seconds, of the OSPF Network-LSA held in this router's link-state database. OSPF LSAs are refreshed roughly every 30 minutes and expire at a 3600-second MaxAge, so a value climbing steadily without resetting signals that the router originating this LSA has stopped refreshing it. For example, if the age for the Network-LSA describing a shared Ethernet segment climbs past 3500 seconds without dropping back down, the admin should suspect the designated router on that segment is no longer flooding updates.
