What is rlIpRoutingProtPreferenceOspfExt?
This read-write value sets the routing preference given to routes external to OSPF, meaning routes imported by this router acting as an OSPF autonomous-system border router, based on type 5 and 7 link-state advertisements. An admin typically sets this less favorably than the internal OSPF preference so genuinely internal OSPF paths win over redistributed external ones. For example, setting this preference value higher than OSPF-internal ensures a route learned as an OSPF external type-5 LSA yields to a native intra-area OSPF route to the same network.
