ipLeakStaticToRip
Module: CISCOSB-IpRouter
OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-IpRouter::ipLeakStaticToRip
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.26.7.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This parameter controls leaking (redistribution) of static routes to RIP. When enabled, all routes inserted to the IP routing table via SNMP are advertised into RIP.
What is ipLeakStaticToRip?
This read-write value controls whether static routes inserted into the IP routing table via SNMP are redistributed, or leaked, into RIP. An admin enables this so manually or SNMP-configured static routes get advertised to RIP-speaking neighbors automatically. For example, enabling this after adding a static route via SNMP means that route will now show up in this router's RIP advertisements without any separate redistribution configuration.
