ipLeakRipToOspf

Module: CISCOSB-IpRouter

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-IpRouter::ipLeakRipToOspf

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.26.7.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This parameter controls leaking (redistribution) of routes from RIP to OSPF. If enabled, all routes learned via RIP are advertised into OSPF as external routes.

What is ipLeakRipToOspf?

This read-write value controls whether routes learned via RIP are redistributed into OSPF as external routes. An admin enables this to bridge routing information from a legacy RIP segment into the OSPF domain. For example, enabling this lets OSPF routers learn about a RIP-only branch office's networks as OSPF external routes.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.26.7.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-IpRouter::ipLeakRipToOspf

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.26.7.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-IpRouter::ipLeakRipToOspf.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.26.7.4.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ipLeakRipToOspf.1
