rlDhcpv6RelayInterfaceListRowStatus

Module: CISCOSB-DHCPv6-RELAY

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-DHCPv6-RELAY::rlDhcpv6RelayInterfaceListRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.214.3.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: This variable displays the validity or invalidity of the entry. Setting it to 'destroy' has the effect of rendering it inoperative. The internal effect (row removal) is implementation dependent.

What is rlDhcpv6RelayInterfaceListRowStatus?

This standard RowStatus column shows whether a row in the DHCPv6 relay's interface list is active or has been marked invalid, and writing 'destroy' to it removes that interface from the relay's participation list. An administrator uses it to add or retire specific interfaces from DHCPv6 relay duty without touching the rest of the relay configuration. For example, when a VLAN interface is decommissioned, setting its row here to destroy stops the relay from forwarding DHCPv6 requests received on that VLAN.
