rlDhcpv6RelayInterfaceDestinationsRowStatus

Module: CISCOSB-DHCPv6-RELAY

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-DHCPv6-RELAY::rlDhcpv6RelayInterfaceDestinationsRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.214.3.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: This variable displays the validity or invalidity of the entry. Setting it to 'destroy' has the effect of rendering it inoperative. The internal effect (row removal) is implementation dependent.

What is rlDhcpv6RelayInterfaceDestinationsRowStatus?

This RowStatus column controls the validity of one interface-specific DHCPv6 relay destination entry, and setting it to 'destroy' removes that particular server binding from the given interface. An administrator uses it when a specific VLAN or interface needs to relay to a different DHCPv6 server than the global default, and later needs to retract that override. For example, if a branch VLAN was pointed at a local test DHCPv6 server, an admin destroys this row to fall back to the relay's global destination list.
