rlDhcpv6RelayDestinationsGlobalRowStatus

Module: CISCOSB-DHCPv6-RELAY

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-DHCPv6-RELAY::rlDhcpv6RelayDestinationsGlobalRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.214.3.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: This variable displays the validity or invalidity of the entry. Setting it to 'destroy' has the effect of rendering it inoperative. The internal effect (row removal) is implementation dependent.

What is rlDhcpv6RelayDestinationsGlobalRowStatus?

This RowStatus column governs whether an entry in the DHCPv6 relay's global destination-server list is active, with a 'destroy' write removing that server from the list the relay forwards requests to globally. An administrator manages this to add or remove upstream DHCPv6 servers that all relayed interfaces share, without needing a per-interface override. For instance, retiring an old central DHCPv6 server means setting its global destination row here to destroy so the relay stops sending client requests to it.
