Description: Specify the minimal interval between successive ARP SYSLOG messages. 0 - message is immediately generated. 0xFFFFFFFF - messages would not be generated. A legal range is 0-86400.

What is rlIpArpInspectLogInterval?

This read-write Unsigned32 specifies the minimum interval, in seconds, between successive ARP-inspection SYSLOG messages, where 0 means a message is generated immediately for every event and 0xFFFFFFFF means no messages are generated, with a legal range of 0-86400. An admin cares because it controls whether a burst of ARP violations floods the syslog server or gets rate-limited into a manageable stream. For example, an admin whose syslog server was being overwhelmed by repeated ARP mismatch messages during an attack would raise this interval so messages are batched rather than sent for every single dropped packet.
