Description: Grace time for an authorization key. A Radio Slave is expected to start trying to get a new authorization key beginning AuthGraceTime seconds before the authorization key actually expires. The value of this object cannot be changed while the authorization state machine is running.

NOTE: When installed in the field, this variable should NEVER be set below 300 which is the lower limit by standard. This variable accepts a wider range to facilitate testing.

What is cwrBpiRsAuthGraceTime?

This read-write object, in seconds within a 1-to-1800 range, sets how long before its authorization key expires the Radio Slave should start requesting a replacement, and the desc warns it cannot be changed while the authorization state machine is actively running. The desc also explicitly cautions that field deployments should never set this below the standards-mandated 300-second floor, with the wider allowed range meant only for testing. For example, a lab engineer testing rapid re-authorization cycles might set cwrBpiRsAuthGraceTime well below 300 seconds, but would need to restore it to a standards-compliant value before the radio goes into production.
