cwrBpiRmAuthRsPublicKey

Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-P2P-BPI-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-P2P-BPI-MIB::cwrBpiRmAuthRsPublicKey

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.135.1.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: Public key of the Radio Slave encoded as an ASN.1 SubjectPublicKeyInfo object as defined in the RSA Encryption Standard (PKCS #1) [RSA1]. This is a zero-length string if the Radio Master does not retain the public key.

What is cwrBpiRmAuthRsPublicKey?

This read-only object holds the copy of a specific Radio Slave's RSA public key that the Radio Master has retained, encoded per the PKCS #1 SubjectPublicKeyInfo standard, and it returns a zero-length string if the master isn't currently holding that slave's key at all. It lets an admin verify from the master's side that it has successfully learned and stored a given slave's public key during authorization. For example, a zero-length cwrBpiRmAuthRsPublicKey for a slave that should be authorized would indicate the master never actually captured that radio's public key, explaining an authorization failure.
