Description: This is the start value of Virtual Channel Identifier(VCI) used for connecting to the controller which is external to the switch. This object has significance only if cvcConfControllerShelfLocation is 'external(2)'. This object may not be modified if the associated cvcConfRowStatus is equal to 'active(1)'.
What is cvcConfVci?
This read-create Integer32 object holds the starting Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI) used to connect to a VSI controller on an external shelf, and like cvcConfVpi it only applies when the controller's shelf location is external. An administrator sets this to match the ATM virtual channel range used to reach that off-shelf controller, and it locks once the row becomes active. For example, if the external controller link uses VCIs starting at 100, cvcConfVci would be configured to 100 for that controller entry.
