This read-write TruthValue enables or disables the Multi-CID SVC feature, allowing multiple AAL2 Channel Identifications to share a single SVC when true, versus one CID per SVC when false, and cannot be changed while active SVC calls exist. An administrator enables this to make more efficient use of ATM SVC resources by bundling multiple voice channels onto shared connections. For example, enabling Multi-CID lets several simultaneous calls between the same two gateways ride a single SVC instead of each needing its own.
