cvapSvcMultiCIDGlareThreshold

Module: CISCO-VOICE-AALX-PROFILE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-AALX-PROFILE-MIB::cvapSvcMultiCIDGlareThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.323.1.3.1.1.18

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the threshold at when reached on the SVC-Terminating end, that no more CID's can be added to that Terminated-SVC from the Termination end. The Originating end will be able to use the remaining CID's in the SVC.

What is cvapSvcMultiCIDGlareThreshold?

This read-write Unsigned32 (0 to 248 CIDs) sets the threshold at which the SVC-terminating end stops accepting new CIDs onto a Terminated-SVC, while the originating end can still use the remaining CIDs in that SVC. An administrator tunes this to prevent both ends from racing to fill the same SVC's remaining capacity simultaneously. For example, setting a lower glare threshold reserves more headroom on the terminating side to avoid CID allocation conflicts with the originating end.
