cvapCodecConfigNewJtrNomDelay

Module: CISCO-VOICE-AALX-PROFILE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-AALX-PROFILE-MIB::cvapCodecConfigNewJtrNomDelay

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.323.1.1.2.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the nominal jitter buffer size.

If cvapCodecConfigJitterDelayMode is set to fixed(2), the jitter buffer is fixed at this value for the duration of the call.

if cvapCodecConfigJitterDelayMode is set to adaptive(1), the jitter buffer is initially set to this value.

The value of cvapCodecConfigNewJtrNomDelay needs to be greater than or equal to the value of cvapCodecConfigJitterMinDelay and be smaller than or equal to the value of cvapCodecConfigJitterMaxDelay.

What is cvapCodecConfigNewJtrNomDelay?

This read-write Unsigned32 (2 to 500 milliseconds) is a newer nominal jitter buffer size setting, used as the fixed value in fixed mode or the adaptive starting point, and must stay within the min/max delay bounds. An administrator uses this object, functionally similar to cvapCodecConfigJitterNomDelay, to configure the baseline jitter buffer for a call profile. For example, setting this to 40ms establishes the starting jitter buffer size for calls using adaptive delay mode on this profile.
