Description: This object gives the CUSP system state. 'up' - System is up. 'down' - System is either offline or going down.
What is cuspSystemState?
This object reports whether the CUSP, Cisco Unified SIP Proxy, system is currently up or offline and going down. An admin monitoring SIP call routing infrastructure treats this as the primary health check, since a down state means the proxy cannot route any SIP calls at all. If cuspSystemState flips to down during business hours, the admin would expect an immediate spike in call failures across the network relying on that proxy and would prioritize restoring it.
