cipCardOffloadConfigRowStatus

Module: CISCO-TCPOFFLOAD-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-TCPOFFLOAD-MIB::cipCardOffloadConfigRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.31.1.1.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used by a management station to create or delete the row entry in cipCardOffloadConfigTable following the RowStatus textual convention.

What is cipCardOffloadConfigRowStatus?

Controls creating or deleting the conceptual row for one entry in the CMCC offload configuration table, following the standard RowStatus textual convention. Because an offload entry bundles together the path, device, IP address, host/router names, and application names described by its sibling objects, this row-status object is what actually commits or removes that whole bundle as a single configured offload task, so setting it to createAndGo only makes sense once the mandatory identifying values for the row are also being supplied. After setting cipCardOffloadConfigPath, cipCardOffloadConfigDevice, and cipCardOffloadConfigIpAddr for a new mainframe channel connection, an admin finalizes the entry by setting cipCardOffloadConfigRowStatus to createAndGo(4), which brings that specific offload task into active configuration.
