cipCardOffloadConfigIpAddr

Module: CISCO-TCPOFFLOAD-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-TCPOFFLOAD-MIB::cipCardOffloadConfigIpAddr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.31.1.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: IP address of the host application for the offload task as specified in the HOME statement of the PROFILE TCPIP.

What is cipCardOffloadConfigIpAddr?

Holds the IP address of the host application for this offload task, matching what's specified in the HOME statement of the mainframe's PROFILE TCPIP. This has to be kept in lockstep with the mainframe-side TCP/IP profile configuration rather than being an independent router-side choice, since CLAW/offload connectivity depends on both ends agreeing on which address represents the host application. If the mainframe's PROFILE TCPIP HOME statement lists a particular address for this device, cipCardOffloadConfigIpAddr on the router side must be set to that same address or the offload session won't establish.
