Description: Writing reset(2) to this object resets the control logic of all modules in the system. Writing resetMinDown(3) to this object resets the system with the minimal system down time. The resetMinDown(3) is only supported in systems with redundant supervisors.

This object is deprecated and replaced by csyScheduledReset in CISCO-SYSTEM-MIB.

What is sysReset?

A write-only control used to reset the device: writing 'reset' restarts all modules' control logic, while 'resetMinDown' performs a reset with minimized system downtime (where supported).

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
