Description: A 16-bit protocol value. If the packet's type field or the packet's DSAP/SSAP field is equal to this value, a match occurs. The packet is dropped if a match occurs and deny(1) was specified. The packet is dropped if a match doesn't occur and at least one protocol type filter was specified with permit(3).
What is filterProtocolValue?
Reports the 16-bit protocol type/DSAP-SSAP value that a protocol filter matches against on incoming packets, determining whether frames are permitted or dropped.
