Description: This object represents the number of commands received by this target port or device. This object provides support for systems which can quickly generate lots of commands because they run at high speed.

What is ciscoScsiDscTgtHSInCommands?

This object is the Counter64 equivalent of ciscoScsiDscTgtInCommands, provided per the desc for high-speed target systems capable of generating command volumes fast enough to wrap a 32-bit counter between polls. An admin monitoring a busy modern all-flash array's target entry should rely on this 64-bit counter rather than the 32-bit version to get accurate trending without wraparound distortion. As with the initiator-side high-speed counter, the difference from its 32-bit sibling only becomes meaningful once the target's command rate is high enough to wrap the smaller counter within a typical poll interval.
