This object identifies which set of entries in the ciscoScsiLunMapTable defines the specific LUN mapping (which LUNs this initiator is allowed to see, and at what LUN numbers) applied when this authorized remote initiator attaches to the local target, per the desc, with zero meaning some default mapping applies instead. An admin implementing per-host LUN masking - giving one server access to LUNs 0-3 while another server sees a completely different LUN set - configures this index to point each authorized initiator at its own distinct LUN map. Two different authorized-initiator entries pointing at two different map indexes would let two servers attach to the same physical target but each see an entirely different, isolated set of LUNs.
