ciscoNetRegFreeAddrHighThreshold

Module: CISCO-NETWORK-REGISTRAR-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-NETWORK-REGISTRAR-MIB::ciscoNetRegFreeAddrHighThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.120.2.0.12

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: This notification signifies that the shortage of available IP addresses for a particular scope is over and generated when the number of free addresses for that scope reaches or exceed value specified by the cnrNotifDHCPScopeFreeAddrHigh.

This notification will only be generated when crossing the threshold specified by the cnrNotifDHCPScopeFreeAddrHigh object indicates the end of IP address shortage.

If the threshold type is scope or subnet, then the value is the primary or secondary subnet number, and if the type is selection-tag, then the value is the selection tag list.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' CISCO-NETWORK-REGISTRAR-MIB::ciscoNetRegFreeAddrHighThreshold
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.120.2.0.12

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:57840->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (380095472) 43 days, 23:49:14.72
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: CISCO-NETWORK-REGISTRAR-MIB::ciscoNetRegFreeAddrHighThreshold
