lecsConfigTblStatus
Module: CISCO-LECS-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsConfigTblStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.2.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: RowStatus
Access: read-write
Description: The status object associated with the designated entry. Note that a value for lecsConfigTblDefaultElanName cannot be specified at row creation time (as it points to an entry in the lecsElanConfigTable which depends on this designated entry). A management station wishing to set the lecsConfigTblDefaulElanName must do so in subsequent SET requests to the now active row.
What is lecsConfigTblStatus?
This RowStatus object manages the lifecycle of an entry in the LECS configuration table, with the specific quirk that lecsConfigTblDefaultElanName cannot be set at the same time as row creation because it points into a dependent table (lecsElanConfigTable); it must instead be set in a follow-up SET after the row is active. An admin cares because scripting LECS provisioning end-to-end requires this two-step sequence — create the row first, then set the default ELAN name — or the SET will fail. For example, an automation script that tries to createAndGo this row with lecsConfigTblDefaultElanName in the same PDU will need to be restructured into two separate SNMP operations.

Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.2.1.1.3.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsConfigTblStatus.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.2.1.1.3.1 s <value>
