lecsConfigTableName

Module: CISCO-LECS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsConfigTableName

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.1.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: The textual name used to identify a configuration table in use by the designated LECS. Note that this value must be a reference to an entry in the lecsConfigTblTable.

What is lecsConfigTableName?

This string names which entry in the lecsConfigTblTable the LAN Emulation Configuration Server (LECS) should use when answering LE_CONFIGURE_REQUESTs from ATM LAN Emulation Clients. An admin cares because on an ATM LES/LECS deployment this is the pointer that binds the LECS's live behavior to one specific named set of ELAN mappings — pointing it at the wrong table means clients get mapped to the wrong ELAN. For example, setting this to 'campus-elans' makes the LECS answer configuration requests using that table's MAC-to-ELAN and ATM-address-to-ELAN mappings instead of a different table named 'datacenter-elans.'

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsConfigTableName

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.1.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsConfigTableName.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.1.1.1.1.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> lecsConfigTableName.1
