lecsAtmAddrConfigStatus

Module: CISCO-LECS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsAtmAddrConfigStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.2.4.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: The status of this entry (conceptual) row in the lecsAtmAddrConfigTable. The row cannot be set to 'active' until an appropiate value exists for lecsAtmAddrConfigElanName. This may be provided by the agent if there exists a value for the lecsConfigTblDefaultElanName for the designated lecsConfigTblName.

What is lecsAtmAddrConfigStatus?

This RowStatus object for an entry in the lecsAtmAddrConfigTable cannot be set to active until lecsAtmAddrConfigElanName has an appropriate value, though the agent may supply that value automatically from the parent table's default ELAN name if one is configured. An admin cares because, like the MAC-based table, this lets an ATM-address mapping row activate by inheriting a default rather than requiring an explicit ELAN name every time. For example, an address-range entry created without an explicit ELAN name will still activate if lecsConfigTblDefaultElanName is already set for its parent config table.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsAtmAddrConfigStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.2.4.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-LECS-MIB::lecsAtmAddrConfigStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.38.1.2.4.1.5.1 s <value>
