Module: CISCO-BSC-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-BSC-MIB::bscCUHardErrors

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.36.1.2.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Count of hard errors; these are errors which have not been recovered after bscPortRecoveryRetries number of retries, and therefore the connection has been terminated. These errors could be caused by a hardware error in the link or in the remote device; or possibly the bscPortRecoveryRetries value is set too low for the quality of the connection.

What is bscCUHardErrors?

Reports the count of unrecoverable errors that persisted after the configured number of retry attempts, causing the BSC connection to be terminated, often indicating a hardware fault on the link or remote device.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.36.1.2.1.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-BSC-MIB::bscCUHardErrors

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.36.1.2.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-BSC-MIB::bscCUHardErrors.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> bscCUHardErrors.1
