cncSourceChangeReason
Module: CISCO-ATM-NETWORK-CLOCK-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-ATM-NETWORK-CLOCK-MIB::cncSourceChangeReason
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.121.1.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The reason for the most recent change of a source of network clock, as indicated by the change in the value of cncSourceChangeTimeStamp.
'none' indicates that the source of network clock has not changed.
'lossOfLock' indicates that the clock source was changed because the network clocking hardware lost lock on the previous network clock source.
'lossOfActivity' indicates that the clock source was changed because the network clocking hardware detected a loss of activity on the previous network clock source.
'ncdpRestructure' indicates that the NCDP entity has changed the clock source as a result of a network-wide network clock distribution tree restructuring process.
When the reason for a clock switchover is none of the above, the value of this object is 'other'.
What is cncSourceChangeReason?
Reports the reason the device's active network clock source most recently changed (for example, loss of lock), as reflected by a change in cncSourceChangeTimeStamp; a value of 'none' means no change has occurred.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.121.1.1.7 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-ATM-NETWORK-CLOCK-MIB::cncSourceChangeReason
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.121.1.1.7.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-ATM-NETWORK-CLOCK-MIB::cncSourceChangeReason.1
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cncSourceChangeReason.1
