Description: Loss of signal indication. Possible values are none or critical. When this attribute is critical, oCILOF, oCILOP, oCILAIS, oCIPAIS, oCISLM, oCILRFI, oCIPRFI and oCILOCD are unknown.

What is oCILOS?

Reports whether the optical interface is experiencing a loss of signal (LOS) condition, with a value of 'critical' meaning no usable signal is being received; when critical, several other related alarm readings become meaningless (unknown).
