ciCircuitStorageType

Module: CIRCUIT-IF-MIB

OID (symbolic): CIRCUIT-IF-MIB::ciCircuitStorageType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.94.1.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: StorageType

Access: read-create

Description: The storage type used for this row.

What is ciCircuitStorageType?

This standard StorageType object indicates whether this circuit's configuration row is stored persistently (non-volatile, surviving a reboot) or only in volatile memory (lost on restart), following the usual StorageType enumeration (volatile, nonVolatile, permanent, etc.). An admin provisioning a circuit that must survive a device reboot needs to confirm or set this to nonVolatile rather than leaving it at a volatile default, or the circuit definition will vanish after the next restart. For example, a circuit created via a temporary management session with StorageType left as volatile(2) would disappear the next time the device is power-cycled, requiring reprovisioning.
