Description: The 32 bit sum of LS checksums of all LSAs with LS type-4 in this area's Link State Database.
What is cienaCesOspfAreaSummAsLsaCksumSum?
This read-only Integer32 is the 32-bit sum of LS checksums of all type-4, ASBR-Summary, LSAs in this area's link-state database, per its description, giving a quick consistency check on the ASBR-reachability data flooded into the area. Comparing this value across routers in the same area helps confirm they all agree on how to reach the same set of ASBRs, which matters for consistent external-route computation across the area. An engineer seeing inconsistent external-route reachability among routers in the same area would compare this checksum sum first before digging into individual ASBR-Summary LSAs.
