Description: This MIB object reports the number of packets that have had option 82 removed.
What is cienaCesDhcpRelayAgentL2Option82Removed?
Counts DHCP packets from which the relay agent stripped an existing option 82 field. Removal (rather than addition or replacement) happens in specific configurations where the operator doesn't want option 82 to propagate onward at all, so a rising count here confirms that stripping behavior is engaged rather than passing option 82 through unexpectedly to the server. This would increment, for example, if downstream customer equipment inserts its own option 82 that this relay is configured to strip before forwarding upstream.
