What is wamVerMajor?
This is the major version number of the WAM plugin software running on a protected web server. Since the plugin must stay version-compatible with the User Authority Gateway it queries, this is the value an admin checks before a firewall upgrade to confirm the web-server-side plugin won't suddenly stop authenticating requests. For example, major version 4 needing to be validated against the UAG's own supported-client version list ahead of a gateway upgrade.
