What is voipDOSSipNetworkCallInitConfThreshold?
This is the configured maximum number of call initiations allowed toward the internal network within the voipDOSSipNetworkCallInitInterval before the defense engages. Because unusually high call-initiation counts are the classic signature of toll fraud against a compromised PBX rather than ordinary signaling noise, this threshold is one of the more security-critical VoIP settings on the gateway. For example, the threshold might be set to 2000 call initiations per interval.
