thresholdState

Module: CHECKPOINT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CHECKPOINT-MIB::thresholdState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.42.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: State of the thresholds engine: Ok (1), Error (0)

What is thresholdState?

This reports the health of the thresholds monitoring engine itself, Ok (1) or Error (0), per the description. If this reports Error, none of the individually configured thresholds (CPU, memory, disk alerts, and so on) are being evaluated at all, which is a silent monitoring blind spot rather than any single metric being out of range. For example, a value of 0 (Error) would mean threshold-based alerting has stopped entirely on this gateway.
