thresholdActive

Module: CHECKPOINT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CHECKPOINT-MIB::thresholdActive

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.42.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Number of active thresholds (Generating alerts)

What is thresholdActive?

This counts thresholds that are currently in a triggered, alert-generating state right now, as opposed to thresholdEnabled which counts everything configured regardless of current state. This is the immediate 'how many things are wrong on this gateway right now' figure. For example, the value might read 2 thresholds currently active, such as disk space and CPU.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CHECKPOINT-MIB::thresholdActive

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.42.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CHECKPOINT-MIB::thresholdActive.1
